The Bom Jardim project is located about 25 km northwest of the Cuiú Cuiú property and 45 km NW of GMining’s Tocantinzinho gold mine. It was one of the largest garimpos in the region with historic alluvial gold production of approximately 1Moz. It is one of the largest alluvial gold camps within the Tapajos Mineral Province.
Cabral Gold controls two large exploration licenses comprising more than 13,000 hectares covering the headwaters and source areas of the Bom Jardim district. The company has completed a very robust exploration program and spent in excess of C$1.7 million at Bom Jardim. This work includes a 53 line kilometer 3D IP survey, 2436 line kilometers of aeromagnetic and radiometric surveys conducted in mid-2011, the collection of over 2300 soil and rock chip geochemical samples, and six diamond drill holes (1357m).
